Many of the most popular Seattle museums and attractions have days each month when your admission is absolutely free. If you are raising a family or you are on a fixed income this should really resonate for you. I have listed the days each month this is done for each facility with their website so you can get general information.

Seattle Art Museum Downtown
Free – first Thursday of every month, first Friday ages 62 and over.

Seattle Asian Art Museum
Free – first Thursday and Saturday and second Thursday 5-9pm of every month, first Friday ages 62 and over.

Olympic Sculpture Park
Free – always.

Wing Luke Asian Museum
Free – first Thursday and third Saturday of every month.

Museum of Flight
Free – first Thursday of every month 5-9pm.

Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture
Free – first Thursday of every month. Museum stays open until 8 PM.

Museum of History & Industry
Free – first Thursday of every month.

Bellevue Arts Museum
Free – first Friday of every month. Museum is open from 11 AM until 8 PM

Henry Art Gallery
Free – first Thursday of every month, always students.

Frye Art Museum

Free Passes

The Seattle Public Library has developed an on-line site to provide passes to some of the most popular Seattle museums and attractions to expand the days you can get free admission. If you are raising a family or you are on a fixed income this should really resonate for you. If you go to the Seattle Public Library link it will provide you a list. Click on each facility and it will take you to a calendar where you can select a date for your pass. Not all dates are available.
