The cultural events and outdoor activities available at no charge or at almost no cost is close to amazing, Auburn needs to be commended for the effort they make to the greater Auburn community.  Having said that the cow is funny isn’t it, and the lightning storm is awesome.  If that is a knock off event for them the activities planned by the community must be truly amazing.

Parks, Ball Fields, Open Spaces

Auburn has 28 developed parks, over 23 miles of trails (including Auburn’s 4.5 mile portion of the Inter-urban Trail for bikers, walkers, runners and skaters), and almost 247 acres of open space for passive and active recreation. Cultural Events in Auburn Abound

Click Auburn Performing Arts Center for performance information for Oz, Susssical the Musical, and Chad and Jeremy.  I stopped to get tickets for Sussical the Musical when I found it is being offered.  Soundbites (click Soundbites for time, dates, and location information) is Auburn’s newest concert series – a lively, eclectic music series.  The concerts take place every Friday in July (12:00 – 1:30 PM).  Auburn’s ArtRageous (click ArtRageous for time, dates, and location information) is a one day festival celebrating the arts on Saturday, August 4, 11:00 – 6:00 PM!  Join the fun which will include art projects, a main stage, and beer garden.  ArtRageous partners with the Art Walk, a juried art exhibition as well as art installations throughout the downtown.
