Big BandBig Band Music comes to Seattle

In The Mood is a 1940’s Big Band, Swing Dance Revue that celebrates the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra, and stars of the swing era with authentic music arrangements, costumes and choreography. This is a sentimental tribute to America’s Swing Era. This spectacular performance includes the Spectacular String of Pearls Big Band and the six vocalists of the In The Mood Singers. The National Archives in Washington, DC brought IN THE MOOD to their audiences as part of their commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of WWII and the response was extraordinary with crowds lining up for hours before curtain time. The engagement was twice extended to extra performances. The show runs two hours, twenty minutes with a 15-minute intermission. CD’s of the music of the 1940s will be on sale in the lobby Showtime
