Culture and the Arts

Kirkland Parks Spring & Summer Guide
Kirkland Spring/Summer Recreation Guide offers wide range of classes that are focused on children, teens, adults, and seniors. There is registration information in the guide listings.

Kirkland Senior Center
The Peter Kirk Community Center provides opportunities for people aged 50 and over. Their goal is to promote wellness of body, mind and spirit. A wide variety of activities and services are offered. This is a drop-in facility that offers the opportunity for fun, friendship and socialization in a warm and friendly atmosphere. On any given day or evening you will see people participating in activities such as:
- fitness & dance classes
- arts & crafts classes
- lifelong learning classes
- fun special events
- intergenerational programs
- van trips & charter tours
Also provided are:
- health, legal & financial services
- nutritional lunch (Monday – Friday, except Thursday)
- Meals on Wheels delivered to homebound
