Sarah Kay is one of those artists who finds true joy in the spoken word and the perfection of a well-crafted sentence, a sentence that becomes a story; a story that touches us with insight.

She was only 14 years old when she took the stage for the first time at the famous Bowery Poetry Club in the East Village. Sarah Kay is now captivating audiences with spoken word poetry. Sarah is co-founder of Project V.O.I.C.E., she teaches the magic of poetry, and encourages self-expression to students across the world. Her first book of poetry is “B”.

  1. She really is a good storyteller. It reminded me of a child listening to their mother tell stories of when they were young. I had the same feeling listening. I enjoyed how she tells the tale of her life.
